These shutters can be built to work with virtually any type of window, including slide-by, double-hung, casement, fixed glass – even patio doors and room-to-room pass-through windows. Additionally, our shutters are available in a wide selection of materials, from hollow vinyl to hardwood, all with your choice of louver sizes, colors, finishes and a host of custom options.  Colorado Shutters specializes in the following styles of custom shutters...
Colorado Shutter:
A mix of wood composite material that has a poly propylene finish.  Very nice and is our lowest price point.  The panels are a little thinner than the Classic, Texas, and the Diamond Shutter.  It’s a great shutter for the price but limited in useto large panel sizes. Paint finish only.

Texas Shutter:
Solid wood with a beautiful eggshell finish.  Thick panel sizes as big as 36”. Stains and paints are available with this shutter.

Classic Shutter:
The same as the Texas shutter with a different grain for stain finishes.  Not a heavy oak but a soft alder look.  Available as a maple grain and can be custom stain to your tastes.

Diamond Shutter:
The same wood shutter with a thick ABS molded to it for the harshest environment.  "Tool throwers" and kids with sharp toys can hardly penetrate this finish.  It’s been developed for commercial use and it is just flat out the most durable shutter available for large panels and paint finish only.

Crown Shutter: 
Our top-of-the-line shutter is made of solid cedar and is appropriate (or suitable) for panels up to 48" in height. It only comes in stain. This shutter works well where you require the look of a golden oak stain, yet it's cedar wood. It's an incredible look!
